CSIP Presented Potential Research Collaboration to Ministry of Environment

Monday, 22 June 2020 – CSIP was invited to present potential research collaboration in the workshop which was presided over by H.E Say Samal, Minister, Ministry of Environment (MOE) and attended by senior officials of MOE and National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD).

The workshop discussed the needs for evidence-based researches for MOE in the making of policy frameworks toward sound environmental management and sustainable development.

CSIP proposed two research projects on “Waste Pricing Strategy” and “Sustainable Community Development Model” for collaboration with MOE. These two research projects will provide policy frameworks to reduce negative environmental impacts and to mainstream national development vision to the community level.

H. E Say Samal supported the initiatives and encouraged CSIP team to further discuss with NCSD and relevant departments for the potential collaboration.
