CSIP Participated in Student Orientation Session for New Students from Digital Economy Programme

Monday, 15 February 2021 – Center for Strategy and Innovation Policy (CSIP) participated in the student orientation workshop on NUM digital economy lab at National University of Management (NUM).

The workshop was presided over by H.E Dr. Hor Peng, Rector of NUM who is also the current Advisory Board Member of CSIP. The workshop was attended by representatives of UNDP, Ministry of Environment, CSIP, and professors and students of NUM.

The students of Faculty of Digital Economy shared the business project (ACTIK) and current research projects on digitals with participants for discussions. Representative from Ministry of Environment also shared the experiences of solid waste management.

Dr. Oum Sothea, Dr. Phim Runsinarith and Mr. Kim Veara, Executive Director, Senior Advisor and Economist of CSIP together with representative from UNDP shared views on digitals and digital economy with students and other participants.

Sharing lectures and researches with students and youths is one of the key activities of CSIP. The workshop, conference and capacity building activities are built into CSIP’s mission to “promote rigorous academic research and evidence-based policy-making process for sustainable development of Cambodia”.
